Terms of sale
These terms govern the supply of products by Akesis Pharmaceutical Products Trading. By placing an order you accept them.

Who we supply
We supply pharmaceutical manufacturers, laboratories, healthcare suppliers and qualified distribution partners. We do not supply consumers for personal use.
An account is required to view products or place an order. We may require verification of your identity, address, business registration or licences before accepting an order, and we may decline to supply any order.
Controlled substances and destination requirements
A number of products in our portfolio are controlled substances in one or more jurisdictions. Supply is subject to the licensing, import, export and regulatory requirements of the destination market.
You are responsible for holding the authorisations required to purchase, import, possess and handle the products you order in your jurisdiction, and for confirming that the intended use is lawful there. We may require evidence of those authorisations before shipping, and we will not ship where we cannot establish them.
Prices, quotations and orders
Prices are quoted per order against the product, quantity, specification and destination you give us. A quotation is valid for the period stated on it. Your order is an offer to buy; a contract is formed when we confirm acceptance, not when the order is submitted.
Unless the quotation says otherwise, prices exclude taxes, duties, freight and insurance.
Payment
Payment methods offered at checkout are shown with the account details required to settle. Where payment is by transfer, quote the order number as the reference; funds are applied on receipt and goods are released against cleared funds unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Our account details are published only within your account, on your order. We will never notify you of a change of bank details by email. If you receive such a notice, it did not come from us — contact us before paying.
Documentation and batch traceability
Each shipment is supplied against a batch carrying a lot number. A certificate of analysis is available for the lots you have been shipped, from your account, together with the batch documentation and specifications applicable to that lot.
Any lot number may be checked on our lot verification page, which confirms the batch details and reports whether the lot has been withdrawn.
Withdrawal and recall
If we withdraw a lot from sale we will contact recipients of that lot using the details on their account, and the lot verification page will report the withdrawal. On being notified, stop using material from that lot and quarantine what you hold pending our instructions.
Inspection and claims
Inspect goods on delivery. Claims for shortage, damage in transit or non-conformity with the agreed specification must be notified promptly and before the material is used or further processed, with the lot number and the certificate you received.
Outstanding
The following are being finalised with our legal advisers and will be published here before they are relied upon: warranty and limitation of liability, passing of title and risk, delivery terms and Incoterms, returns and cancellation, force majeure, governing law and dispute resolution.
Until then, the commercial terms applying to any order are those set out in the quotation and order confirmation for that order.
